The watchmaker chose to open its first luxury watch boutique in Verbier at the Chalet de Flore, a charming four-star Swiss hotel just 100 meters from the Médran ski lifts. After Crans-Montana, St. Moritz, and Zermatt, Omega is strategically strengthening its ties with Switzerland's most prestigious resorts.

Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO of OMEGA, who presided over the ceremony, took the opportunity to express his enthusiasm: "Verbier is the ideal setting for OMEGA. It is a place of style, adventure, and precision, values that perfectly match our DNA. This boutique is more than just a retail space: it is a warm invitation to enter the world of OMEGA, in the heart of the Alps."

Located at an altitude of 1,500 meters, Verbier lies on a sunny plateau facing south towards the Combins massif and southwest towards Mont Blanc. The resort is considered one of the most upscale in Switzerland and is part of the Quatre Vallées ski area. Known for its festive atmosphere, which is popular with young people, the Valais resort was named the best Swiss resort at the World Ski Awards for the seventh time this year.

The charm of the place did not escape Paul Wesley, star actor of the Vampire Diaries series and brand ambassador: “As a lover of mountains and craftsmanship, this boutique in Verbier represents the perfect blend of luxury and authenticity. Omega has created something truly unique here.” Other friends of the brand were also in attendance, including Swiss designer Kévin Germanier, golfing sisters Kim and Morgane Metraux, Olympic skier Mathilde Gremaud, former Miss Switzerland Christa Rigozzi, and model Manuela Frey.

At the same time, the watchmaker is preparing to resume its role as official timekeeper for the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games next February. As with the Paris Games, it will set up its OMEGA House for the duration of the competition in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan.
