With just a few hours to go before the opening of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina, the Swiss watchmaker is preparing for its arrival on Italian soil. The competition, which will begin on February 6, will mark Omega's 32nd participation as the official timekeeper of the Olympic Games since 1932.

Excitement is mounting for athletes, fans, partner brands, and media around the world. For the fourth time, the Olympic Games are coming to Italy, kicking off tomorrow, February 6, in Milan and Cortina, followed by the Paralympics on March 6. Once again, Omega will be on site to time the world's sporting performances.

For the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games, the Biel-based brand has revisited its iconic Seamaster model in winter colors with the Seamaster Diver 300M Omega (Omega)

On Piazza del Duomo, the giant countdown clock installed a year ago by the brand shows the exact number of days, hours, and minutes remaining before the opening ceremony kicks off. For the occasion, the Biel-based brand has also revisited its iconic Seamaster model in winter colors with the Seamaster Diver 300M: delivered in a special Milano Cortina 2026 case, the white ceramic and titanium watch features a dial decorated in honor of the Games with the number “26,” as well as a case back stamped with the competition's emblem.

As with the Paris 2024 Games, the brand will be returning with its Omega House for the duration of the competition, in a unique winter setting. It will be located in the Cracco restaurant, run by chef Carlo Cracco, in the iconic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, from February 7 to 21. The ground floor café will be transformed into the “Omega Café by Cracco,” while on the first and second floors, members will be able to relax during the day and watch the competitions broadcast on screens. In the evening, Omega plans to host exclusive events for friends and ambassadors of the brand.

In a press release, Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO of Omega, declared: “With the growing popularity of Omega House at the Olympic Games, we were determined to bring that same enjoyment and exclusivity to Milano. It’s our very first winter edition, and the location and atmosphere offers a rich and genuine Italian touch. We can’t wait to invite our friends from around the world to experience the magic of this great sporting moment in time.”
