The Cannes Yachting Festival, one of the highlights of the nautical calendar, is preparing to welcome visitors from September 9 to 14, 2025. Every year, this event attracts many enthusiasts and professionals from the sector, and the next edition will be no exception.
Established in 1977, the Cannes Yachting Festival has become an unmissable event over the years. In 2023, according to the latest available data, the delivery of superyachts (24 to 60 meters) worldwide generated a turnover of €5.9 billion. Almost 90% of the existing fleet of models over 30 meters was built in European shipyards.
With more than 700 boats on display, ranging from 5 to 50 meters, the festival offers a comprehensive overview of current trends in the nautical world. Cannes is preparing to welcome around 55,000 visitors to the Old Port and Port Canto, on the edge of the legendary Croisette. Port Canto will be entirely dedicated to catamarans and trimarans, a segment of the yachting industry that is experiencing remarkable growth in terms of turnover.

This year, the festival will highlight several new features. Many renowned manufacturers, such as Beneteau, Ferretti Yachts, Jeanneau, Prestige, and Lagoon, will present their latest models. For this edition, Beneteau will unveil innovations in three key segments: dayboating, waterfront real estate, and sailing. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover modern designs featuring cutting-edge technology. Among the highlights is the arrival of the new 47-foot sailboat from the Allures range (Allures Horizon 47).
For the renowned Italian manufacturer Ferretti Yachts, the new models on display will be the Ferretti Yachts 800 (24.7 meters), which was launched last July, and the Ferretti Yachts 940 (28.9 meters), which features more space for socializing on board with larger salons and common outdoor areas.
Pershing Yachts will present the GTX70 (21.8 meters), the first model in the GTX range, with its sporty lines and comfortable interiors.
The GTX70 was unveiled at the Venice Boat Show last June. For the PACA region (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur) in France, the economic impact of yachting is very significant: the turnover generated by this sector is estimated at around €1 billion, with more than 10,000 jobs involved.
