By Shilpa Dhamija03 juin 2025
The Trump Organisation is launching a $1.5 billion luxury golf and residential project in Vietnam, in Hung Yen city, located south of the capital city of Hanoi. The commencement of this project coincides with Vietnam’s ongoing negotiations with the U.S. over the latter's 46% reciprocal import tariffs.
A local real estate developer - Kinh Bac City development holding corporation has collaborated with the Trump Organisation to build the 990 hectares (2446 acres) luxury property near Vietnam’s Red River. The project will house 2 golf courses, designed by Bryson DeChambeau - two-time US Open winner and a European Tour winner. It is scheduled to be operational by 2027.

The project that was first announced in fall 2024 will also have luxury villas, clubhouse, wellness facilities and 5-star hotels.
This is the second major overseas project launched in 2025 by Eric Trump, U.S. President Donald Trump’s son and the executive vice president of the Trump Organization. In spring this year, Eric Trump announced the Trump International Hotel & Tower in Dubai, in collaboration with Dar Global, a British luxury real estate developer. The 350 meter tall building with 80 floors will be built along Sheikh Zayed road, at the entrance of downtown Dubai with views of the iconic Burj Khalifa. It will have luxury rooms, suites, private lounges, the highest outdoor pool in the world and a private members club - The Trump, scheduled to be completed by 2031.
In the last 2 years, Dar Global and the Trump Organisation have collaborated on 3 luxury projects in the middle east. In 2024, the duo launched a $500 million mixed-use luxury real estate project in Oman and about $533 million Trump Tower Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.
The Oman property will have a championship golf course with 18-holes, a members-only club, furnished villas, a 5-star hotel and the cliff-hanging night club. While the Oman property is set to open in 2028, the 47-floor Trump Tower in Saudi Arabia will be completed by December 2029.
In other countries in Asia, India currently houses 4 Trump Towers across 4 metro cities - Mumbai, Pune, Gurugram (Gurgaon) and Kolkata with the first one launched in 2014. The most recent project in Gurugram sold out in May this year with ultra-premium penthouses fetching $14.6 million, each. Tribeca developers, Trump Organisation’s real estate partners in India plan to launch 6 more Trump branded projects in the next 6 years
