After a three-year absence from the top spot, Prada has reclaimed first place in the Lyst Index in the third quarter of 2026, ahead of Chanel and Miu Miu. The results highlight the Italian fashion house’s momentum and the growing importance of accessories in consumer demand.

Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, the creative duo behind Prada since 2020 (Prada)
The Italian company climbed five places compared with the previous quarter and recorded a 55 per cent rise in demand between July and September this year. Its silk ‘Wish’ clutch bag emerged as the most sought-after product during the period analysed, with a spectacular 498 per cent increase.
This result illustrates the effectiveness of Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons’ creative strategy, based on products with an instantly recognisable identity, capable of transforming an aesthetic vision into commercial appeal.
Presented in Milan in September, Prada’s Spring/Summer 2027 show, ‘The Skirt’, generated significant buzz on social media and reignited interest in the midi skirt. In the days following the show, global searches for ‘Prada skirt’ surged by 360 per cent on eBay.

Celine Enters the Top 10

Prada’s “Wish” silk clutch has emerged as the most sought-after item during the period analysed by Lyst (Prada)
The Index now sees Chanel slip to second place, followed by Miu Miu in third. Just off the podium is Gucci, Kering’s flagship brand, which has risen to fourth place, ahead of Saint Laurent, another flagship brand of the group led by the Pinault family.
Dior, meanwhile, has slipped to sixth place, recording the sharpest decline in the Lyst Index’s top 10.
Among the most significant rises is Celine, which has climbed five places to enter the top 10 for the first time, in tenth place. Driven by a new creative impetus and successful collaborations, such as the one with Reebok, the LVMH group’s brand has seen a 62 per cent year-on-year increase in demand for its menswear collections. Bottega Veneta has also climbed three places to eleventh, thanks to the arrival of creative director Louise Trotter and the brand’s dynamism.

Accessories Dominate The Product Rankings

This time, the product rankings particularly highlight the strategic importance of accessories. Behind Prada’s Wish clutch, COS’s Trullo bag takes second place, followed by the Celine x Reebok trainers. Balenciaga’s Rodeo bag ranks eighth. Cartier’s Tank watch ranks tenth, driven by an 83 per cent increase in demand. It is the first watch to feature in this ranking since 2021.
Once again, these products – which capture a significant share of consumer attention – share a common trait: an instantly recognisable identity, even though their prices vary considerably. The Lyst Index is based on data from the platform’s 160 million annual users. The ranking methodology takes three factors into account: desire, demand and discovery. For fashion houses, this index is increasingly becoming a key benchmark for understanding a product’s visibility and consumers’ purchase intent.
Key Points:
- Prada regains the top spot: the Italian fashion house climbs five places in the Lyst Index and records a 55 per cent rise in demand between July and September 2026.
- Céline enters the top 10: the LVMH Group brand reaches tenth place, driven in particular by a 62 per cent year-on-year increase in demand for its menswear collections.
- Accessories confirm their strategic importance: Prada’s Wish clutch tops the product rankings, whilst Cartier’s Tank watch makes a comeback in the rankings, with an 83 per cent rise in demand.
