As it prepares for a new season marked by change, Kering is reshaping the leadership of Pomellato, DoDo and its Italian operations. The appointments come as jewelry emerges as one of the group’s strongest growth drivers, at a time when Kering is seeking to reduce its reliance on Gucci.
The French luxury group is gearing up for a busy period of change. From September 15, Kering, controlled by the Pinault family, will implement a strategic reshuffle of its leadership team. Charlotte Fournet will take over as CEO of Pomellato, while Krizia Cucurachi will become CEO of DoDo. Sabina Belli, who has led the Pomellato group since 2015, will become President of Kering Italia, reporting directly to CEO Luca de Meo.
The appointments come six months after the creation of Kering Jewelry, the division bringing together Boucheron, Pomellato, DoDo and Qeelin. Its mission is to strengthen synergies among the group’s jewelry maisons while preserving and enhancing their individual identities.

With this new organisation, Kering is looking to further diversify its growth drivers, as the group continues to face challenges at Gucci and a turnaround that has yet to deliver its full potential.
Jewelry emerges as a new growth engine
Jewelry is increasingly becoming a strategic growth driver for Kering. In 2025, Kering Jewelry generated €935 million in revenue. In the first half of 2026, the division had already reached €521 million, up 20% on a comparable basis.
These results are strengthening the strategic importance of jewelry within Kering’s portfolio. Against this backdrop, the choice of the new leaders sheds light on the priorities set for each of the group’s maisons.
Charlotte Fournet tasked with taking Pomellato upmarket
A Kering veteran, Charlotte Fournet has held positions at Saint Laurent, Gucci and Bottega Veneta. She brings more than 14 years of experience in merchandising and product strategy.
Her background closely matches Pomellato’s ambitions: further elevating the maison’s positioning, improving the productivity of its retail network and accelerating its international expansion.
Her appointment as CEO is expected to help Pomellato enter a new phase of growth while strengthening its position in the highly competitive high-jewelry market.
DoDo turns to an executive already familiar with the brand
At DoDo, Krizia Cucurachi takes the helm with a strong understanding of the brand and its challenges. She joined the company in 2024 as International Product and Brand Director, giving her first-hand knowledge of the maison’s positioning and ambitions. Before joining Kering, she spent more than a decade at Swarovski.
Her mandate will be to strengthen DoDo’s prestige in Italy while accelerating its expansion into international markets. It is a dual challenge for a brand whose growth potential will depend in part on its ability to expand beyond its home market.
Sabina Belli takes the helm of Kering Italia
Sabina Belli’s new role is equally significant. After 11 years at the head of Pomellato, the former executive, who previously held positions at Bulgari, Veuve Clicquot and LVMH, will become President of Kering Italia.
Her new position goes well beyond institutional representation. Italy is one of Kering’s key industrial and creative hubs, home to a significant share of the group’s workforce, as well as numerous workshops and specialised craftsmanship capabilities that are central to its operations.
Belli will also continue to oversee the Kering Accademia per le Eccellenze, the organisation dedicated to passing on and preserving the group’s high-end artisanal skills.
Kering looks to diversify its growth drivers
As the group seeks to reduce its reliance on Gucci, the growing strength of its jewellery division is becoming increasingly critical. The leadership reshuffle announced for September is therefore about more than simply changing executives: it reflects Kering’s ambition to further structure a business that is expected to play an increasingly important role in its strategy.
Pomellato, DoDo, Boucheron and Qeelin now operate within a shared organisational framework while pursuing distinct strategic priorities. The key question is whether this new structure will enable Kering to turn the current momentum in jewelry into a genuine second engine of growth.
Key takeaways:
- Charlotte Fournet will head Pomellato, Krizia Cucurachi will lead DoDo, while Sabina Belli becomes President of Kering Italia.
- Kering Jewelry generated €935 million in revenue in 2025 and posted 20% comparable growth in the first half of 2026.
- By further structuring Boucheron, Pomellato, DoDo and Qeelin, the group aims to strengthen its jewelry business and reduce its reliance on Gucci.
