White Elephant, Aspen

In February, White Elephant opened its first location in the American West in Aspen, joining Nantucket and Palm Beach, and imposing an alpine chic vision designed by Boston-based architecture firm EMBARC.

With 54 rooms and suites, a palette of white, cognac, and charcoal, fine materials such as leather, wood, and stone, and a collection of 125 original works including landscapes by Alex Katz, the hotel is already iconic.
