Light And Movement At The Fondation Cartier
The Fondation Cartier for Contemporary Art inaugurated its new location in the heart of Paris, on the Place du Palais-Royal, on October 25 with a captivating exhibition featuring nearly 600 works by more than 100 artists, including David Lynch, Claudia Andujar, and Junya Ishigami. The inaugural exhibition, designed by the duo Formafantasma, paints a fascinating portrait of forty years of contemporary creation. Jean Nouvel’s architecture provides the perfect backdrop for this artistic journey. At the start of the renovations, the star architect said of the spaces: “Everything must be removed so that the eye can travel through a space without obstruction.”
