James Turrell opens up the sky at ARoS
American artist James Turrell, one of the pioneers of the Light and Space movement, has completed his work As Seen Below – The Dome, the largest Skyspace ever created in a museum, where the sky itself becomes a material sculpted by light and architecture. The monumental installation will open to the public on June 19, 2026, just in time for the summer solstice at the ARoS Aarhus Art Museum in Denmark.
