A Japanese Vision
At the Photographers’ Gallery in London, “Japanese Women Photographers: From the 1950s to Now” showcases several generations of Japanese female photographers who have helped shape the country’s visual history since the postwar period.
On view through September 27, 2026, the exhibition brings together more than 200 works and explores, through unique perspectives, issues of identity, society, and representation in Japan.
