Watchmen

With Watchmen, British artist Emil Sands explores the notions of surveillance, power, and vulnerability with unsettling precision through paintings in which the gaze becomes a territory of silent tension.

On display in London at the Victoria Miro Gallery until March 7, the exhibition is part of a demanding contemporary painting, both sober and psychological.
