Unfiltered beauty

The ability to convey energy and emotion is a talent that Mario Testino has cultivated for over 40 years, and which he constantly renews through his favourite medium: photography. Considered one of the most influential fashion and portrait photographers, Mario Testino has a very personal way of capturing and rendering beauty. His portrait series have left their mark: the one of Princess Diana that he shot in 1997 for Vanity Fair, the official portraits of the British royal family, those of Kate Moss or Eva Herzigova, but also the more intimate ones, born from his travels in Italy or in Peru, his country of origin.

In exclusivity and for the first time in Italy, the 29 ARTS IN PROGRESS gallery presents “Mario Testino: Unfiltered”, the first major exhibition of the work of this famous artist and photographer ever shown before in a gallery.
The exhibition will take place in two consecutive times in Milan, the first from October 1 to November 27 and the second from December 2, 2021 to February 28, 2022.

“Shooting images continuously and for many years, it’s nice to sometimes stop and self-reflect, to examine that which others see and take from my photographs.” – Mario Testino
