The marble cathedrals

In the middle of Carrera Lake – on the Chilean side – or Lake Buenos Aires – its name on the Argentine side – lie the marble caves. These are unusual geological structures formed by the action of the waves, which for more than 6,000 years have been carving out marble caverns, columns and tunnels.
