The jewel of the Cretaceous

Auctions dedicated to palaeontology are fascinating. These objects are part of our common heritage, part of the history of our planet. Recently, this 40 cm high coloured ammolite, a real jewel of the Cretaceous period (75 million years ago) was estimated at between 20,000 and 30,000 Swiss francs.
