Run Rome
42.195km is a long way to run. However, when you feel like you are running through an open-air museum, it may seem more attractive. Run Rome The Marathon represents one of the world’s most beautiful marathon courses, with more than 15’000 people participating each year. The route is exceptional, starting at the Colosseum, on Via dei Fori Imperiali, and passing in front of the Vittoriano in Piazza Venezia, the Castel Sant Angelo, the Vatican, St. Peter’s Basilica, the Piazza di Spagna with the famous Spanish Steps, and many other historical treasures. Encouraged by the National Anthem, the Legionaries with their ancient armour, the way to the medal at the Colosseum is never boring. In 2023, the marathon will take place on 19 March.
