Charlotte Gainsbourg and Saint Laurent: a duo in Arles

As the 57th edition of the Rencontres Photographiques d’Arles is set to begin on 6 July, an exhibition entitled 5bis presents a series of photographs by Charlotte Gainsbourg – a first for the artist. With the support of Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello and Maja Hoffmann, this exhibition offers a deeply intimate and personal glimpse into Charlotte Gainsbourg’s perspective on the Gainsbourg House, shortly before it was transformed into a museum. A cathartic series that seeks to transform nostalgia into pure artistic creation.

It will be on display from 6 July to 6 September at La Galerie du Cloître in Arles.
