If there is one thing everyone agrees on, it is the chance to take part in a great culinary experience. Well, once a year, Zurich welcomes one of Europe’s three biggest food festivals, Food Zurich, with over 100 events around culinary art. The festival takes place over the course of 11 days during which culinary visionaries, restaurateurs, start-ups and pioneers are offered a platform to present their trendsetting ideas. The 2023 edition will allow traditional Swiss dishes to meet with global food trends, collect urban herbs or get to the bottom of plant-based dishes. Additionally, listening to talks, strolling around the Slow Food Market, cooking with rescued food or exchanging ideas live and in person with culinary experts are part of the activities offered. The festival, taking place from 7 to 17 September 2023, will focus on themes such as women in gastronomy, planetary health diet and young talent.
