Azzedine Alaïa: Sculpting Fashion

The Franco-Tunisian designer Azzedine Alaïa is set to take centre stage in the United States with his very first major American retrospective. The exhibition will open on 21 November 2026 at the Legion of Honour Museum in San Francisco and will run until 11 April 2027. It will bring together nearly 80 iconic designs tracing the couturier’s career, from the launch of his fashion house in 1980.

Visitors will also be able to see outfits worn by celebrities such as Tina Turner, Grace Jones, Naomi Campbell, and Rihanna, demonstrating Alaïa’s lasting influence on international fashion.
