A very private train
Thierry Gaugain, a French industrial designer renowned for his innovative superyacht designs, recently presented his latest folly: the G Train, a 400-metre-long train made of glass that goes from opaque black to total transparency in the blink of an eye, custom-built for a single, very wealthy owner. Still at the project stage, if it were to be acquired by a private owner, it would represent a major technological advance. For Thierry Gaugain, this project consists of offering another way of travelling, in the most absolute comfort and exclusivity, while respecting a more sustainable way of getting around.
