A library on the ocean

The “Wormhole” library, designed by MAD Architects, was recently inaugurated in the city of Haikou, capital of Hainan Island province, China. This project is part of a larger project called “Pavilions by the seaside”, along the 32-kilometre long China Sea coast. It will bring together several buildings dedicated to art and culture. Star architects such as Sou Fujimoto and Anish Kapoor are being called in.
