Sandor Czellar

Sandor Czellar is Professor of Marketing at HEC Lausanne at the University of Lausanne and holds a PhD degree from the University of Geneva. Luxury brand research is a long-standing interest of his, dating back to his early collaboration with French luxury academics Bernard Dubois and Gilles Laurent.
Sandor’s research focuses on how consumers form likes, dislikes and identities and how the underlying psychological processes and related individual differences impact consumer behavior, with a particular emphasis on sustainable behavior. His work has appeared in outlets such as Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Journal of Consumer Psychology and Journal of Environmental Psychology. He is also a co-editor of the Research Handbook of Luxury Branding published by Edgar Elgar in 2020.
